Good day all,

I am considering renting out my entire 3 room flat located in Toa Payoh. 5 mins walk to Braddel Mrt, Caldecott Mrt, wet market and coffee shops.

1.) What is the profile of the renters who lease entire 3 room flats in Toa Payoh?

2.) What furniture/appliances would make my flat more attractive to prospective renters?

3.) On average, how long does it take to find a renter?

Evening Alexander,

You will need to be SC and have fulfilled the MOP requirement before you are eligible to rent out your HDB unit. Tenant profile for Toa Payoh can range from students, educators and possibly nurses. You can provide opt to prepare your unit for unfurnished condition and be ready to supply the basic requirements requested by prospective tenants. As for how long it will take to have your unit rented out, it would depend on location and asking price. It took me around 3 weeks to have my AMK unit rented out at $2300 on 2 years lease.
