Hi,

Assuming you are selling your hdb, yes you can take up to max 80% for the bank loan and for a tenure of 30 years max. Current bank interest depends on package that you sign up for, but its around 2% pa. Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans further.

The period of loan is dependent on your age and the balance lease of the unit. As the bank loan interest, it will be based on the package that you are getting and the amount of loan you are getting.

You are right that you obtain max 80% bank loan in the event that you sell your HDB first before purchase.

Max loan tenure is lower of 30 years or up to retirement age (65 minus your age).

Different banks offer different competitive loan packages. There are fixed, SIBOR, fixed deposit mortgage rate etc. Maybe I can get my bankers to elaborate more on that?

Perhaps you can share with me about your preferred location/ projects and budget so I will be in a better position to advise and assist you further.
