Hi,

For residential property bought before 11 Mar 2017. You have to observe a period of 4 yrs before incurring seller stamp duty.
Meaning:
1st yr = 16%
2nd yr = 12%
3rd yr = 8%
4th yr = 4%

If you have bought after 11 Mar 2017, you only need to observe a period of 3 yrs.
1st yr = 12%
2nd yr = 8%
3rd yr = 4%
