During a divorce, the condominium owned by me n my husband need to sold. Currently, we are still paying mortgage loan to the bank. In the event, a purchaser exercise the option to purchase, will the option money be release to us or be retain by the lawyer firm?

Morning Ms. Ho,

Option monies are usually transacted between sellers and buyers. Other monies will then be handed by the lawyers.
