Hi, at the end of the contract, it is your agent's duty to collect back the security deposit and return it back to you. That is the responsibility of a tenant agent to sourcing for a suitable unit and paperwork from the start and to the handover and collecting back the security deposit for his or her tenant at the end.

Dear tenant,

At point of time when you are serving legal papers, your lawyer should be able to find out the address of the landlord. Even if you may have the registered address, you may not be able to locate landlord too if he/she is determined to hide away from you.
