Does a landlord need to inform his tenant(s) when he hires an agent to oversee his properties (i.e. anything landlord-tenant related)?

Hi, for most of my rental cases, my landlord don’t deal with tenant directly at all. As my landlord has paid me a fee, it is my responsibility to assist in dealing with tenant and all issues that may arise during the tenancy period.
