Do private property buyer needs to pay agent fee?

Dear hy,
There is no regulation governing who should pay commission to agent. If you have specifically engaged the services of an agent to assist you in sourcing for a unit, upon successful purchase, would you feel that it is fair to him/her that his time and effort spent for you is being rewarded?
All commissions payable must be agreeable by all parties involved.
