As some of the potential tenant may have their own set of furnitures and in that way, your unit would be one of their choices as well should the tenant shortlisted the particular condo. I will suggest to leave your unit as it is now. You will only furnish according to the tenant's requests. This will save you the hassle of thinking whether to furnish it or not now.

Dear Ken,

It maybe unnecessary to provide but like what my fellow professionals have indicated, perhaps leaving it option as of now would be a better idea. In most cases, I will advise my landlords to rent out their places as a partial furnished unit such that there will be less prospective inconvenience arising from the damages incurred on these furniture on the landlord end.

So far, based on the rentals I have concluded in the first 6 months of 2015, all cases are done on a partial furnish basis (Refrigerator and Washer provided) due to the sensitiveness in the dimension, where tenants maybe unable to bring them along to their next accommodation of choice.

With most of my tenants arriving in Singapore as brand new expatriates, I am likely able to match your unit to an expatriate soon. Do let me know more details about your available property for rent to assist further perhaps?
