Typically for sale of private property or HDB, the commission payable is 2% of the sale transacted price + GST. For purchase of HDB, its 1% of the purchase price + GST.
For private property purchase, typically the buyer agent cobroke and shares comm with the seller agent or gets a nominal service fee from developer.
Suggest to only work with one agent who is professional, whom you feel a good rapport with and can be committed to your plans with a good marketing plan to market your property. Engaging more than 1 agent to market your property can potentially confuse the buyer and gives a perception that the property is tough to sell (hence more agents needed), which puts you in a disadvantaged position from the onset. There is also loss of price control since each agent will just advertise lower to get the buyer or fellow agents to call them, and less commitment of resources to sell your property. As a seller I believe you also find it tough to monitor the advert every hour just to be sure.
