Dear Sir or Madam I wish to buy a residential property under my company name and wish to clarify the following: 1) What is the maximum loan the company is eligible 2) How much for stamp duty and ABSD (if any) 3) Any penalty if property is sold? Many thanks in advance!

Good morning Deirdre! I will advise you to purchase under personal name. 1) You may take up to 80% bank loan if you don't have any outstanding housing loan (50% if you do). 2) Normal buyer's stamp duty of estimated 3% of purchase price with ABSD at 7% (for 2nd property as SC) or 10% (for 3rd and subsequent).
