Dear Gurus,
I want to apply for the Singles Grant of S$15,000 soon.
However I am worried about this eligibility rule:
Ownership/ Interest in Property
You and the other flat applicants must not:
Own any of the following properties whether locally or overs, or have disposed of any such properties in the 30 months before your resale flat application:
Private residential property (including HUDC flats and ECs)
House
Building
Land
My siblings, my mother and I inherited our father's land overseas when he passed on 2+ years ago. There are 6 successors.
We are still in the arduous process of selling off the land and there's no money coming in, but we spend a lot of money on legal and court appearances, if you can understand. Too much corruption and undercutting.
We're all Singaporeans so it makes us like sitting ducks.
Will this property be held against me? I do not see much coming out of this purchase anyway.
Please advise who I can write to.
