Dear gurus, I found an existing 99-yr condominium at Jalan Loyang Besar_ Pasir Ris. I am attracted by it open view and boutique size of less than 50 units. Is it possible for a 99 yr lease project to go en-bloc?

Yes, of cos. 99y, 999y and freehold properties can all go en-bloc. Question is whether any developer is willing and able to come up with the quantum needed to purchase the site and pay for the development charge (DC) where required. In fact, in the current climate, smaller sites have better potential to go en-bloc given the smaller bite (and hence, risk) to be taken up by developers especially the smaller players who have been active in the en-bloc market.
