Dear Gurus,
I brought my EC as the sole owner with the family nucleus as the occupant. As we are nearing the MOP I am thinking to use my family nucleus name to buy another property or sell the EC. I have below two questions, I hope you can share your input.
Questions:
1) When the EC reaches the 5th year, can the occupant (current family nucleus) remove their name from the EC and buy her first property? While i remain as the sole owner of the EC?
2) First part of question 2. If we sell this EC between the 5th year to 6th year, do we need to notified HDB when we find a buyer? So that HDB knows and approved the sales was made to Singaporean or PR?
Second part of the question 2. Or we do not need to inform HDB during our sales of our EC ?
