Dear Guru, I have rent a condo in Singapore for a 2 years lease with a monthly rental as SG$3000, and i have paid my agent SG$3000 commission, but my landlord has his own agent, and i think that agent had shared the commission to my agent, do you think this is a normal procedure or there is something wrong? please help and many thanks in advance!

Hi Joe, It is wrong to collect service fees from both landlord and tenant, therefore if you can confirm that the salesperson you have engaged has collected a share of service fees with the landlord's representing salesperson, you have a case on hand. Thank you for the reply. I would like to know how much commission do I have to pay to my agent in this case? should it be SG$3000 or lesser or more? I am sure there are dual agents for my case but I cannot tell the evidence here...
