You will need to satisfy the income ceiling at the point of booking the unit. After you booked the unit, you application will be submitted to HDB for an approval process. During this process, HDB will assess your income and your purchase eligibility before granting you the approval. The approval process can take from a few weeks to a few months depending on whether there is a requirement to submit additional supporting documents.
