This is now a BUYERS or TENANT market, prices now favours the BUYER and the TENANT.

With the supply to come in the market in 2017 and 2018 when many projects come to TOP, the rental market is expected to dip further.

The turnaround will only come when Singapore Government open up the floodgates to foreigners coming in again. As mentioned many times in the Master Plan, Singapore is projected to reach an estimated 6.9 million in population.

The answer to your question would vary with :
- Your unit location & locality
- Your unit provisions and state of condition
- which tenant profile will desire your unit most matching
- the alternatives in the neighbourhood
- the rent you are wiling to consider (or if via financing, prepare to offer?)
etc
