If there are no major loan installments under his name right now, he can loan up to a max of 534k based on 30 year loan & max 2.4k per month commitment & TDSR requirements , subject to bank approval.

I would suggest 1 bedroom or studio units that is not more than 650k. I do have 2 of such units in the east right now at Stratum and Palm Isles. You keen to have a look?
