Currently I had finish my loan and own a 4-room HDB flat for 12 years. Am I able to purchase a Private Property (Condo) without selling my 4-room flat? I am 43 yrs old and how many years of loan can I ask from bank and the % that I can ask for if I am able to fork out the 20% down payment? Any other matter that I may had miss out?

Thank you.

Morning Dominique,

As you have your HDB mortgage fully paid, you are eligible for 80% loan which would be dependent on your credit record. You can also keep your HDB unit, after the purchase.
You are aware that 5% must be cash and 15% can be cash / CPF / cash + CPF. If you are SC, you are not required to pay the ABSD but you still need to prepare the stamp and legal fee. You might also be required to pay the CPF component in cash first, which will be reimbursed back to you later.
