Hi Ms Ross,

You would have to sell the current HDB flat when the HDB DBSS (Trivelis) is issued TOP (taking key), as we are not allowed to own two HDB flats at one time. Have the MOP of your current flat being fulfilled?

If your second flat is a resale flat purchased from the open market, you would be eligible to buy the Trivelis (your 3rd flat). Is your first HDB bought directly from HDB or from resale market with CPF housing grant? If yes, you would be considered as a second timer and will have to pay resale levy. There is no COV for new DBSS purchase, but downpayment is required.
