Hi,

PR can buy resale hdb, and condo. But for resale hdb, you need a family nucleus and both PR husband and wife need to be PR of at least 3 years. For condo, sole purchase is possible.

Please take note that ABSD of 5% applies for 1st property purchase for PR. Other than that there is no other differences relative to treatment for citizen purchase. Thanks and hope to assist further.

great hearing from you again!

In order for SPR to purchase a resale HDB, SPR must purchase it with his/ her SPR or Singaporean spouse. If its a SPR household, both of you must fulfil SPR status of 3 years each.

As for condo, you can purchase it as a single SPR.

For single SPR or SPR household, you will need to pay an additional buyer's stamp duty of 5%.
