Being SC, you are eligible to purchase resale EC and HUDC. Based on your age, your mortgage tenure should be around 14 years. As for your mortgage amount, it would depend on how much CPF are available, the purchase price and your credit record.

Hi Mr Chng, yes you may buy any resale EC, which is open to singaporeans after 5 years of TOP, and to all (including foreigners after 10 years of TOP). Your income is not affected when you purchase a resale unit.

I would be concerned about the loan tenure, to qualify for 80% loan you need to stick to a loan tenure of 14 years. If you wish to extend the loan tenure beyond that, your LTV would be higher, and hence only able to loan 60% of the property value.
