Good morning Satenik,

A real estate salesperson will receive their commission upon completion of sale or purchase.

You dont have to pay commission to that specified salesperson if the deal is not closed by him/ her.

Afternoon,

Payment of commission are based on completion of sales or handing / taking over of rental unit. Hence should you engage the assistance of an agent, fee are only payable once the transaction is completed.
