Assuming that I need to rent a room in Singapore and the rental per month is $800, what is the commission to the agent and what is the stamp duty? Do I have to pay the stamp duty myself or my agent would do it? Are there any other costs involved?

Hi Mr victor . You no need to pay agent fee if the agent is serving the landlord. Stamp duty will be $39 if the rental is $800 per month for 1 year lease. Other cost involved will be $5 admin fee. Currently i have few units available for rent. No agent fee needed. Feel free to contact me for more details.
