Hi Brian,

Market is constantly on the move. Having studied the past transacted prices is a good way to decide if a property is worthwhile to buy but do not read too much into these prices as these transactions are in the past and no longer applicable. What you should consider before buying will also be affordability for yourself and as long as the prices are not ridiculously high as compared to your research and you like the unit, there is no harm in committing to the unit.

Afternoon Brian,

The current asking price for 3 bedroom unit is from $840k up. Hence to get a unit at less than $800k, it would be quite a long wait.
Grab the chance if it's within your reach as Singapore's property price have being heading only in one direction.

Hi, you can always put in an offer and see the seller takes it. If the seller is desperate to sell maybe he will consider.

However the Jurong Lake District is one of the key area to be developed by the government. In fact many projects are already underway including the building of the Ng Teng Fong General Hospital near IMM. Also the Canadian International School is nearby fuelling demand for housing in the area.
