Hi Cynthia, for PR holders purchasing resale HDB, it is not about age. But rather both husband and wife have to be PR holder for at least 3 years, then both will be eligible to purchase a resale HDB unit.

Evening Cynthia,

As SPR, you are not eligible for single scheme. You can only purchase with your SPR spouse, if both of you have fulfilled SPR status for more than 3 years, or with SC spouse. The legal age to own a HDB unit will be 21 years old.

Good evening,

You can purchase a resale HDB with your married spouse (Singapore Citizen or SPR) under public scheme. If both of you are SPR, two of you must be SPR for at least 3 years respectively.

If you are mentioned about purchase one under single SPR, I am afraid you are not eligible unless you turn Singaporean and is at least 35 years old to be qualify under Single Singapore citizen scheme.

If not your alternative will be to purchase a private property.

Hi, as a PR,
you are eligible to buy a condo/pte apt anytime. But to qualify for a resale hdb, you can only buy under public scheme. And have to be PR holder for 3 years. Hope this clarify.
