As a single, is it possible to buy EC? i want to use my name only.

Hi,
If you are referring to new EC, unfortunately no as you need to form a family nucleus to purchase. If its resale EC, no issue, you can't purchase on your sole name.
May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

As a single, you WILL NOT be eligible to buy a new EC. However, you will qualify if you find another single to jointly purchase with you provided both of you satisfy the income ceiling.
Otherwise, you may consider private condos instead. There are some projects which offer attractive rental yields and very good upside potential. Please feel free to contact me so that I can share some options with you!
