That would depends on your preferred lifestyle and financial status. If you are looking to purchase your second property and keep your current unit, it can be done if you have enough cash and CPF at hand. Else you can get good return from selling and upgrade to better living lifestyle.

It would hence be prudent for us to sit down and work out the sums and possible plan for your future.

How long more do you have to your MOP? There is no shortage of buyers willing to pay for your property, but the moment you sell, it is already sold and future units will likely be selling at a better price. Are you ready to take such incidents? My advise is plan as though you'll be upgrading and then see how the situation is when your MOP is fulfilled.
