There is also a large range of educational institutes in Woodlands that even adult learners can enjoy. Being a long-time non-mature estate, Woodlands retains more affordable pricing yet offers the conveniences of a mature estate.

BTO Application Process Updates

As a BTO applicant, you will need to first apply for the HDB Flat Eligibility (HFE) letter before you can make your BTO application. Ensure you have obtained a valid HFE letter before applying for a BTO flat in the February BTO 2024 launch. Processing of applications typically takes up to 21 working days, but during peak periods (eg. BTO launch week) there might be delays.
If you are a first-timer BTO applicant who turns down a BTO offer, you will be considered a second-timer applicant for one whole year. If you turn down another BTO offer in a second BTO application, you will need to wait one year before being allowed to apply for another BTO flat.
The previous Parenthood Priority Scheme (PPS) has been replaced by a new HDB scheme, the Family and Parenthood Priority Scheme (FPPS). The FPPS has created a new subset of applicants, First-Timer (Parents and Couples), or FT (PMC). 40% of BTO flats in each sales exercise will be reserved for those in the FT(PMC) category.
FT (PMC) applicants who do not manage to obtain a BTO flat offer in two or more BTO applications in a non-mature estate will now have an additional chance in each subsequent BTO application. This rule makes it easier for those who have been repeatedly unsuccessful to secure a BTO flat.
