Why am I getting 'interrogated' when I make rental inquiries, even before I can get details about the property I'm interested in? I can understand if the agent wants to know whether my husband and I are locals or foreign/EP etc worker, but even when I say my husband is a local, working professional, I still get asked whether I'm working. Is there a particular reason for these kind of questions?
