Hi,

You may market your unit earlier, but can only issue OTP after fulfillment of MOP.
Thus if you wanted to ensure a smooth transaction in the earliest possible time, you have to start sourcing and market your unit at the same time.

It is possible to match both transactions on the same date. You properly will need to request for extension to your own flat in order for you to have time to do any touch up needed in your new purchase.

Hi,

You can only register "Intent to Sell" after you have met the 5-year MOP of your current HDB flat. Afterwhich, you will need to abide by the "7-day cooling period" before you can issue OTP for the sale of your flat.

With regards to the timeline planning, it would be good if we can discuss further as there are a few options you can consider, whether to sell first or to buy first etc. We will need to work on the finances portion as well.

You can only issue Option to Purchase during June 2019, after your MOP is met. Typically starting 1 to 2 months earlier will be recommended. If its genuine family reasons such as family expansion and urgent requirement of bigger space, there could be ways to explore the appeal again.
