We had been trying to sell our flat at Chua Chu Kang for the past 9 months with no buyer offer despite lower down the price till far below market valuation and engaging many agents.
We are going to collect our BTO key next month. I heard that HDB will give extension to sell up to 6 months or 1 year for certain case after key collection. What Will happen if still No buyer after extension period and we have already moved in to new flat ?
Or can we delay key collection until we have a buyer.

Evening,

With the agents you have in hand, I'm sure they are able to provide you with sound advice as what I will be providing. Similar to my client's case at Blk 60X, I have marketed their unit for more than 6 months. I have advised them to request for delayed key collection as my client's need the funding to facilitate the purchase. With the market being slow due to festive season, you might want to work on alternatives.
