PropertyGuru does not allow owners to list their own properties, so you need a registered agent paying thousands in subscription fees to help you post if you wish to advertise here.

You can sell your house by yourself but it is not recommended because you do not have the tools to exposure the property as much as possible and also do not have the negotiation skills to ensure that you can get the highest possible price.
It is recommended to engage an experienced salesperson to assist you with the sale. I can assure that the advantages will outweigh the commission that you are paying.

Hi,
1) It is difficult to do so in Singapore market since we can't display a banner in front of our house without permit.
2) There are 3 ways a layman can advertise their house:
(a) Via newspaper: The response is almost zero since most people don't read newpaper anymore.
(b) Via ownmyhome website: You will still need to pay a fee for doing so.
(c) Via HDB flat resale portal (if yours is an HDB flat): The response from there is almost equivalent to newspaper since most people are not aware of that site.
3) All paid marketing portals used by property agents do not allow layman to do any advertisement. Therefore, posting on propertyguru, 99.co, edgeprop, SRX are not an option.
