Recently, I have signed the OTP and banked in the 1% option from joint-buyers. Buyer Bank requested me, the seller, to counter-sign on the "and/or nominees" as it was strike-through on the OTP by my agent. What would be the implication if I counter-sign against it and later the buyers decided to either have more or less name in the property? I was further puzzled since buyers confirmed with the Bank that they are the only 2 buyers for the property, am I obligated to counter-sign on what purpose to be treated as "*Delete if not applicable"? Thank you for you kind advice.
