Our situation: we are both SPR and have fully paid our exec HDB. I am not working while my hubby's age is 51+. We have around 200k to invest. We are looking for a property to invest with good rental return. #1. Is there any issue for us investing in private property while owning a HDB? #2. with the recent loan rule, will my hubby still able to take loan? If yes, duration? #3. heard news that the rental market will be affected as many condos & HDB are being release in 2012 & 2013, still advisable to invest to collect rental for installment? #4. If yes to #3, which are the area recommend with high rental return?
