My spouse is a foreigner. I'm a singaporean. Understand that we only can get resale. I need to ask
(1) how long do we need to stay in the house before selling/renting it?
(2) can I get overseas property after I got resale flat? If not, do I need to sell the resale within a period of time before I can get overseas property. (Understand that if I have a overseas property will have to sell it within 6mths if I want to purchase HDB subsequently)

Afternoon Pamela,

1) For all HDB buyers, 5 years MOP is the basic requirement before they are eligible to sell their unit into the open market or apply to rent out whole unit.
2) If either of you have properties outside Singapore, you are required to sell it off within 6 months from key collection.
