We are a group of 6 students who will be studying at SMU and are currently looking for accommodation from around mid-August until mid-December.
We were wondering if you could share the address of the property (Sophia Residence) so we can check how far it is from SMU. We would also like to know whether you would be interested in renting to a group of 6 students, and what the monthly rental rate would be.
To give you a better overview of what we are looking for, we are at least 5 girls, but most likely 6, who will be living together. Ideally, we would prefer an apartment with at least one single room, while we are happy to share the remaining rooms since we understand that shared rooms are common in Singapore.
We would also prefer to have our own kitchen and bathroom facilities rather than sharing these with other students we do not know.
Our budget is around 1400 SGD per person per month, although we are currently exploring several options and would naturally appreciate anything slightly below this price range if possible. We also do not require weekly housekeeping services if removing these could help reduce the cost.
In terms of location, we would ideally like to stay within walking distance of SMU, but we are also open to apartments that are a short bus ride away.

Important Note on Short-Term Lease:
4 months is below the standard 6-month minimum most landlords prefer. I would recommend being upfront about this and offering a slightly higher monthly rental to compensate — landlords are more flexible when the yield makes sense.
