You could consider a private condo instead.

Good evening buyers,

Do take note that both of you have to fulfill SPR status for 3 years before you are eligible to purchase a resale HDB. As of now, both of you will only be eligible to purchase a private property. Bear in mind that you will be subject to 5% additional buyer's stamp duty as SPR.

Evening,

For SPR couples, both of you need to have attained the status for at least 3 years before you are elgible for purchase of resale HDB unit. As of now, I'm afraid you might have to wait it out. Alternatively, you can look into private property.

Dear Sir,

Thanks for posting in Propertyguru and congrats on getting your PR!

Sad to say the rules now states that PRs will have to fulfil 3 years of being a PR before qualifying to purchase a HDB unit. So as per now, if you wish to purchase a property, you can only purchase private properties. Please do also note that if you purchase a private property now, and 3 years later you wish to purchase a HDB flat, you will have to sell your condo away. We are not allowed to own any private properties during the first 5 years of owning a HDB.
