My husband & his sister own the hdb flat (joint tenant), fully paid & stay > 10 years. Me & my husband wish to sell the current hdb flat to buy another hdb flat. However the sister refuse to sell. What are the alternatives we can do in order able to get rid of current hdb ownership? The sister refuse to take over the hdb unit with reasonable price as well. All of us are Singapore citizens.

Evening,

Since the unit was purchased under joint tenancy between your husband and sister-in-law, there's no way to proceed unless both agrees to move on. Try understanding your sister-in-law's standing before proceeding.
