my hubby (sporean) bought one private apt with one own name (3% stamp duty) bought apt before married, so now he wants to sell his existing stay apt and plan to buy a new launch condo, he needs to pay 7% on top of 3% of ABSD, so would he be able to claim back the 7% ABSD from IRAS if he sold his existing home pty before TOP? Kindly pls advise. The existing private apt is under his name and the new launch condo will be also under his name soley. from Lim.
