My father passed away few years back and willed the flat to my mother. In the will, it states that I am the executrix for the flat. Now my mum wants to sell the flat. So the buyer will issue all cheques (including deposits) in my father's name or my name? Do I have to go to the bank and open a "special" account in my late father's name just for transacting this HDB sale? I have all the legal docu to execute this sale. Thanks u

Morning Joe, Being executor of the WILL, it only allow you to do the administrative work prior the transmission process. Now that your mother is the sole owner of the unit, all documentation are to be done through your mother. DO feel free to contact me if you require further assistance.
