My father currently owns as a joint tenant with my deceased mother (about a year ago). He has dementia and is 86 years old. We, the siblings wanted the sell off his 4 rm flat under mental capacity act. Is it still possible to sell his flat and use the proceeds for his medical and nursing needs?

Evening,

You will need the medical report to appeal for the court order and assign an trustee under mental capacity act. The trustee will be the assigned individual to handle the necessary, including sales and taking care of the patient.

DO contact me further should you require additional assistance.
