My extended family owned 2 HDB flats which had been fully paid for. One is in Jurong West 71 (4-room, 102sqm, not near MRT) and the other in Bishan St 13 (3-room, 64sqm, near MRT). My husband and I intend to buy a new bigger HDB flat and the extended family and us will live together. Because of that, we plan to sell one of the existing HDB and rent out the second one. From the current trend and rates in those areas, which one will you recommend us to sell, and which one to rent out? What factors should we consider? (The valuation of both existing flats are $380-$400k) Thank you!
