Due to slow moving market conditions, I will usually advise my clients to start marketing 1 to 2 months before MOP date so probably its a good time to start soon.
If you want to ink the OTP before MOP date, you will have to seek approval from your HDB branch office first before you can do so.
As for the proximity housing grant, as long as your parents or in laws are staying with you or in the same town or within 2km from your new house, you will be eligible for this grant.
Lastly, each household are eligible to apply HDB loan twice. If you have not done so, you will be still eligible. But do take note that you have to set aside 50% of the sales proceeds to be utilised into your purchase.
