My condo has been tenanted and I now want to sell it. My tenant is interested to buy and the agent (who deal with tenant agent all this time) was going to charge me 1% commission.
I understand that seller pays up to 2% but if you have agent to market exclusively for you, some agents charge 1%.
In this case here, no marketing or viewing arrangements is required, it doesn't sound very right to pay 1%.
I would like to ask what would be a fair rate? And is it possible to change agent? I didn't sign any exclusive deal.
I would appreciate any advice from the gurus. Thank you!
