May i ask based on the Building & Maintenance & Strata Mgt Act, maintenance of external openable windows, water pipes and cables that are used by unit owner will fall under the responsibility of unit owner....is this correct?
We had a burnt cable outside our condo unit and MCST insists that we are responsible for the repair work. We were charged $200 by our resident electrician which I felt we were being overcharged for a minor household work involving cutting the burnt wire and restore it, a mere 15 mins job. May I have your opinion please? Many thanks.
