Looking for AGENT TO DO HDB ROOM RENTAL
Hello, my family and I live in a HDB unit in Teck Whye Lane. We would like to rent out a common room with exclusive toilet. It is our first time renting out the room, and we have just bought a new Queen bed, new pillows and beddings for our tenant. I would like to ask an agent to help me please. Agent must have extensive experience doing HDB room rentals, and he/she should ideally already have a large group of tenants waiting. We are a friendly family of 4 adults (no children). We are respectful of privacy and space. Question: would it be possible and allowed if we look for a single male tenant who wants to occasionally 'learn more about Singapore's culture and language' and also occasionally be 'part of our family meals'? We heard of landlord-tenant who do not even say hi-bye, meaning that they go in/out and coop themselves in their own rooms. Is it the norm to do that? I'm not too keen on this idea, if possible. For example, I speak Spanish and I do not mind teaching my tenant Mandarin (occasionally!). Thank you for your help! :-) From Kate
