Afternoon Mr. Lim,

According to Fair Trade Act, the commission payable is to be discussed between the client and the salesperson.
If your asking is on the higher end, most salesperson will ask for 2% commission. But if your asking is on the reasonable market rate, it would be good to sit down and work things out.
Getting lower than market practise rate does not means that the services will be slip-short.

I refer to your question about the commission payable. Indeed the market practice is 2% for selling. I also charge 2% and this is not negotiable if i'm privileged enough to be engaged by you. Of course what I can guarantee is you will not be disappointed to pay me that commission.

I have a seller whom i helped to sell his condo and also helped him to buy his EA in the East. His cousin is also a real estate agent and the cousin only wanted to charge him 1% for selling his condo and don't need to charge for the buying. In the end, he still engaged my services which I charged 2% for selling snd 1% for the buying. When everything was aettled, he even sent a testimonial to my company to thank me for my service.
