Is there any regulations/guidelines on the calculation of lease term in tenancy agreement?

For example, 29 Oct 2021 to 28 Feb 2022. Should this be reflected as 4 months (based on billing cycle starting 29th to following month 28th) or 4 months 3 days (based on 29th to 31st Oct which is 3 days and then Nov 21 to Feb 22 for 4 full months)

So should rental be charged for 4 months or 4 month 3 days. Is there a legally correct method or based on what is stated on the tenancy agreement either way can be correct?
