You can choose to buy properties via companies in Singapore too. But stamp duty applies regardless of what properties you buy. And the amount varies depending on the type of properties you buy.
One avenue you can look at though, is to buy companies that own multiple properties. This may significantly reduce the amount of stamp duty you pay to the Government. Having said that, there are still some fees payable to the Government that you cannot avoid.
