HI there, the ABSD would be 15% as the higher rates would apply for this instance. however, there is a way to reduce the absd to close to 5%. ABSD remission would not be applicable in this instance.
Do drop me a call or text for a more detailed discussion on how you can save on your ABSD before you proceed.
Thanks

Dear Sir,

Unfortunately you will NOT be eligible for any remission unless in the event that you convert yourself to a Singaporean then there wont be any ABSD that is payable.

Under current situation, I would advise you to purchase under just your own name to save on the ABSD that is payable!

Please feel free to contact me so that I can understand your situation better and provide you with further assistance!

Regards,

Hi there

It is best if you purchase the private property solely under under own name.. However if you purchase a HDB, then you can purchase with foreign spouse scheme and pay just 8%..

Thanks.

Hi,

ABSD is dependent on the citizenship status. If you are planning for a joint-purchase, and your spouse in a foreigner that are not the countries listed in the free-trade agreement (Switzerland, Norway, USA, Iceland, Liechtenstein), you will be liable for 15% ABSD. If he is of the nationalities above, your ABSD will be 5%.

ABSD is on top of the normal BSD, which is an estimated 3%.

SSD is not applicable upon purchase, only upon selling your unit within 4 years.

Should you need any further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Robbie Chen

Hi,

Buying together with a foreigner spouse will make
You liable for a higher stamp duty of 18%. The first step to move ahead is always getting the finances settled. I can link you up with my bankers who will assist you with the approved loan , at no cost. If you have your own preferred banker, that's fine too. Following that, I will conduct the financial cash computations and progressive payments with timeline to illustrate the options you could consider.

Perhaps you can most importantly share on the requirements ; any particular type/ location/ budget to conduct a comprehensive search and shortlist of appropriate units.

you can take this opportunity to discuss more on your preferences & for me to give an entire overview and share more insights to the market, chart out the market price analysis and recent sales transaction caveats, work out comprehensive financial cash projections and provide you with up to date information to the procedural steps and its associated wings- financial (loan) , legal matters etc.
